About us
Our company is a family company, founded in 1979. The founder was Janez Vovk. He was later joined by his wife, Jožica Vovk, and they became partners in business as well as in life. In 2010, the company was transformed into VOVK d.o.o., with a founding capital of €76,500. Their youngest daughter, Nina Vovk Gobec, also joined the company after finishing her education as a university graduate lawyer. She gained her knowledge and experience by first working at a notary, then in the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia as Head of the general, personnel and legal affairs department, and as a lawyer at Kompas Shop d.d.
On 1 January 2018, the management of the company was taken over by their daughter, Nataša Vovk Kocman, after finishing her education as a university graduate of economics. She had previously gained experience as a business coordinator in an international company, and before that, as the Head of the Grosuplje branch of the Litija Development Centre. Nina Vovk Gobec took over the post of legal advisory manager of the company.
In its long history, the VOVK d.o.o. company has always taken care of development in different areas, since we realise that only a skilled team with strong theoretical and technical knowledge, and equipped with modern machinery, can provide the best support to customers with even the most specific requirements. Through the years, we have been increasing investment in: development, human capital, new working processes, and production capacities.
